Terminator Dark Fate (Mobile): HK Gunship I #4

I designed this gunship so that the head would move independently of the body, and the fins and thrusters would adjust according to The speed and direction of flight.
I incorporated qualities that I liked from large predatory birds, sharks, and rays.

With no other reference provided from the film except the Rev-9 endoskeleton design, I built this with it in mind.
I normally work in organic design, so attempting mechanical vehicle design was a new challenge for me.
An art hero and friend of mine @stevewangcreaturecreator gave me some good advice before starting on this. He told me to sit down and clear my mind, and allow myself to receive inspiration, and to let it flow out of my hands into my work. That advice had a profound effect on my workflow, because I’m used to having to work fast and sometimes I forget the value of being still and opening my mind up to new ideas and possibilities.

Although this design had some challenges, it was a joy to work on.
